Jive Bio...

Jive grew up breakdancing to the classic beat stylings of Herbie Hancock's "Rockit". In later years, you could find him at LA underground parties if they were grinding out deep, dark, industrial sounds. Jive started DJing the nuskool sounds of breakbeat the summer of 2003 in San Francisco clubs and enjoys melding genres into what he calls ghetto-funk. Jive demonstrated his skills at Burning Man 2003 Opulent Temple and quickly gained fans and a reputation as a party rocker. Since 2004, Jive has been promoting a monthly party in San Francisco called FiX, which has been one of the most successful monthlies at Shine Dance (or DJ) Lounge since its inception. In 2006, Jive was asked to take over the global airwaves with the www.JiveBeatz.com radio show for www.Nuskoolbreaks.co.uk. Currently, Jive is producing original music with www.Sleevin.com and plans to debut his tracks the Summer of 2009.
